A1 Series Wire cable Support Flex Track chain
Print Profile(5)

Description
I got tired of cable chains that break, don't flex well, or don't keep the required bend radius of the cable assembly, so I designed this very quick print to support my A1 Series Printer Cables to the hot end. less than 1 hour to print all parts.
Works awesome, keeps wire smooth and supported better than any other type that I have seen. Very Simple and not much could go wrong.
The right-side floats in the holder to stop any binding. Make sure not to make it so tight it can't move up and down at all.
For the A1 mini you will for sure need to cut the strap to length (see step 6) On the Mini I had to trim off 110mm.
To install:
- Install the 2 end pieces
- Slip the clips on the free end of strap with opening upward
- insert strip into slot on left bracket end piece
- Evenly space clips along the strap (see details below on clips)
- Snap clips into location on strap
- Place wire into clips, the cable should be flat on the strap, if the strap is too long, trim off small pieces until cable and strap stack together nicely. This could be needed depending on the variances in cable length from one printer to another.
To install clips (Demonstrated on scrap piece of track):
Place clip on at an angle

2. Insert trailing edge into notch

3. Snap leading edge into notch so both sides are locked in
