Description

Love is comprised of one big heart surrounded by hugs & kisses, every day shows of affection, and supported by cupid's arrow.
This model is a re-interpretation of one of my previous designs, the Atomic Internal Structure Models, but with a fun twist for Valentine's Day!
The large heart in the middle replaces the nucleus. The electron rings are replaced by X & O (hugs and kisses) rings and small heart rings. The middle rod is meant to resemble Cupid's Arrow. The design is still reminiscent of the Bohr model.
Assembly:
The model includes a base with the “Love” name plate. A Central stand inserts into the base to allow the heart to sit on top. The heart prints in two halves that can be snapped together with force. The middle rod inserts through the outer ring, the inner ring, the heart, and the central stand. The rings were printed with AMS but can be printed in a single color and simply painted by hand following a successful print. Once all elements are secured on the rod, the rod end caps (arrowhead and arrow feathers) can be attached either snuggly or with a small amount of glue. Once fully assembled, the shells that the X's, O's, and hearts sit on are able to be rotated along the axis of the middle rod.
