Of course it will look equally good in your bedroom with a warm-white led strip in it for that cosy feeling, or as a complement to your Philips HUE enabled TV with one of these on each side with HUE led strips and HUE sync!
This light is designed to be adapted for your needs, with each pillar being 200mm in length with tabs and holes in either end to easily align for gluing them together to your desired length. I do recommend gluing the pillars together and glue them to the base and just leave the cap loose if you want to add more in the future, the tabs are not strong enough to be the only thing holding the assembly together!
The tabs and holes are made with a pretty tight fit to make sure that everything lines up!
The print profile is made for printing with an AMS, and the print is done in “by object” mode så you can print 1x cap, 2x pillars & 2x diffusers on one plate and the base on another.
i recommend leaving the brim on since the pillars are 200mm tall, i also lowered the acceleration speed so it can print on a bedslinger printer without risk of the pillars falling over.
Mine is printed on a A1 with eSUN PLA+.
