Description

Mat Clamp for Young Joe Speedcubing Timer

Description

I created this model to help me clamp my Young Joe Speedcubing Timer to my homemade mat. I highly encourage you to do the same, instead of buying expensive mats that even then you will need my addon.

Instructions

Print the “no2” part 1 time. Print the “housing” and “bolt” of the “slim” or “tall” version 2 times (choose the "slim" or "tall" version depending on how high you want the timer to rest).

To prevent the battery cover opening and the batteries flying out place the “no2” labeled model as shown in the last image - small side of the two anisometric sides facing the display and the longer one facing the battery cover. If the tolerances are loose, put a piece of paper folded and taped to the longer side of the part so that it faces the battery cover !!!NOT THE AIR!!! so that you can fill the gap. If the tolerances are too tight, adjust your tolerances.

Bolt the “housing” and “bolt” parts together, repeat for both sets. Clamp the two C-Clamps you just created to the mat . Then attach the bolt head to the hole of the time, then slide it to the smaller hole, repeat for the other bolt head, you might need to change the position of the clamps.

Print settings

If you are not familiar with slicer settings, use my provided .3mf files and change the printer and filament to what you are using. If you are, go for changing the settings, if you want.

Please do this

I would very much like to have you remix it to fit other timer brands as well, if you want to, of cource.
