Twist-Lock Mounting Clip for Acoustic Wall Panel

This M4 bolt clip is a specially designed fastening clip for mounting accessories or objects onto an acoustic wall panel. The clip holds an M4 nut and features two wings.

To install, insert the clip into the panel, press it a little into the foam and turn it a quarter turn clockwise using a flat screwdriver. The wings will securely clamp between the slats and the foam behind them, ensuring a firm and stable attachment without requiring permanent mounting.
 

This clip is ideal for attaching lightweight accessories such as hooks, pictures, holders, small shelves, or other functional elements to the panel without damaging it.

After printing, press an M4 nut into the back of the clip. The fit is quite tight, so you may need a small vise, or alternatively, pull the nut into place by tightening an M4 bolt from the other side.

This model is based on the slat panel mount from this wall vase design, but I redesigned it to make it a little easier to use and mount.
