Description

In the wave of my first magic spiral creation, and as a respond to requests to make it more deadly I decided to upload this little twist.

This time order of parts don't matter, as all have the same shape and dimensions.

In 3mf file you will find two lengths of the core stick. The shorter one can fit 17 blades, and the second one 34.

During the assembly, please remember to insert the blades with the notch pointing down, and leave a gap of 3-5mm from the last blade to the end cap.

NOTICE

While separating the parts from the build plate, make sure you are not bending them too much, so they are not straight anymore. This may affect spinning capabilities.

below is a link to original spinner.

You can mix blades from both designs as you wany, but only using 100% print profile,

HAVE FUN!

pretty cool. I printed in candy apple red silk. it seems that the stem is a hair too long so that the cap leaves a gap large enough that the top blade often jumps out of the glove when ending a rotation. I'll just cut a little off. printed from handy app with no changes to print profile, on A1 I will be printing a couple more

why not print another blade and add it in

Replying to @Smokum :
That's what I did, printed a single blade. Lots of inertia to spin now though.

I had to print 3 extra blades to fill the short stick. It apparently holds 20, not 17. With the stick full, it works beautifully.

Just as planned, and after printing, a few small sprays of silicone lubricant between the individual blades, and they rotate brilliantly

Printed perfectly. I used dualcolor silk PLA. So I had to sand the blades just a little as they got stuck on each other. My fiancé stole this one... So I have to print 1 more 🤣🥰
