You can use one of two print profiles and print it in 100% or 80% scale. It works on 70% as well, but the lettering can be too small to read.

 

Each piece is carefully numbered from 1 to 34, making assembly a breeze. Perfect for kids, adults, and anyone who loves hands-on fun combined with a touch of science. Assemble, twist, and enjoy the magic!

 

 

 

Assembly order:

You need to rotate 180 degree each following part, to create intersecting assembly.

Printed perfect. When assembling, just make sure the numbered side is facing down the handle. once you get the hang of it, it spins perfectly!

almost impossible to read numbers with .4 nozzle. looks good in multicolor filement making it look like different colors for each layer. way to tight to put together needed sanding.

Awesome model. Thanks! The more you turn it, the more it loosens up, then it becomes even more fun. I recommend not pushing the cap down all the way. If you do, try to back it off just a bit. About .5mm gap is perfect

correct, the cap should not be push all the way down (should not touch the ribs) . I will change the model it to prevent such thing. Thank you!

I'm glad you like it, but you assembled it upside-down. The notch should be on the bottom, and every following one as well. In your current configuration it shouldn't even work.

Unfortunately, one of the bed's elements came loose. Also, it doesn't yet work for me as shown in the GIF, as the elements sometimes adhere too tightly and don't move. Perhaps it will improve after some time with manual adjustment. Printed on a Smooth Plate with PLA

Hi. Thank you for your comment. While assembly, you should leave the space between the last element and the cap to let it rotate freely. About 5mm is enough. You can try to adjust it after the assembly

Thank you for your feedback and especially for the fantastic design I have increased the spacing again However, my problem is likely that the individual layers are partly too close together or were not printed completely straight, causing them to become entangled

I see. If the parts are warped, the toy may not functioning as intended. Most likely it's caused by poor bed adhesion. You might try to clean your bed with IPA, or maybe try to print in a few, smaller batches.

we have tried to print this multiple times in a pla basic material and we are getting g some really weird stuff going on. not sure why it will not print correctly. we have tried slowing it down and reducing the pieces on a plate.

I figured the number sequences. The top number is the group it belongs to and the bottom number is the piece in sequence order. The groups are Group 0 (1-9) Group 1 (0-9) Group 2 (0-9) Group 3 (0-4). You will start in reverse with the piece numbers and notch face down. I don’t know if it matters if you start with Group 0 or Group 3? I’ll let the designer clarify that in the comments. I did it both ways and it really didn’t look any different to me. generally the numbering is 1-34, but to be able to read it, I needed to split it in two. it does not matter if you start from 1 and go up, or from 34 and go down, you will end up with the same shape.
