2x 3mm metal pins and 4x M2 screws are required for the lid mechanism.

I have the same problem, lid does not close by itself

I fixed that problem by putting a screw in one of the extra holes

The screw is not yet attached to the lid frame, but it acts as a counterweight, correct?

Well it is pretty logic... Put pins in two oposite holes on lid, put lid in top part (smaller one) of trash can on notches that is desinged for that, put cover for pins(that little things, it is 4 of them but you need 2) and screw it...

Wonderful I reduced it to 80% in x and y and my daughter now has a cosmetic bin Forged nails also work wonderfully instead of a metal wire Screws for me are M1.4x5

It's a very cool design, exactly what I was looking for in the bathroom, the best part is the color combination possibilities, in my case I used PLA WOOD and PLA WHITE, the assembly instructions are very easy and the parts fit perfectly

The print went perfectly the bottom layers of the blue bucket are not great because I increased the speed mode and unfortunately forgot to raise the temperature to 225 the TPU feet also worked flawlessly

Excellent print file - My wife immediately wanted a second one The only thing is the opening for the metal pin is very tight I believe a 2.5mm pin would fit better there as my pin went in very stiffly but otherwise it is truly excellent
