French Cleat Holder for Bench Cookie Plus (8 pcs & optional accessory holder mounting)

Note: This is the base holder for 8 bench cookies which hooks into the French cleat system. For the mounting of the optional accessory holder (risers), please print the separate model (here) and glue the parts together.

Over the years I accumulated several different types of bench cookies from different vendors. It was finally time to put them on the french cleat wall maintaining a consistent design.

In the meantime it is confirmed by users that this design is also compatible with the Rockler-branded version of the Bench Cookie Plus.

There are 2 versions available as separate print profiles:

• Version 1: For usage with the optional accessory holder. This version contains the bottom interface structure and is generally printed with higher strength settings to hold the weight of the additional holder and the accessories
• Version 2: Standalone version. This version omits the bottom interface structure. Due to less structural load requirements it was further optimized to consume less material

If you use the optional accessory holder, please make sure you do a proper deburring of the bottom of the top holder. I use brims in the supplied print profile to make the part as flat as possible, and a few minor sections of the interface channels are overlapping with these 6 brims. Make sure you clear the bottom channels, so the accessory holder can fit into it. You can then simply glue the parts together. The interface is designed to compensate for some z-tolerance and minor warping.

The provided print profile is optimized for PLA using custom supports - it took a few iterations of both the design and profile to make successful prints. I recommend to use the supplied profile.
