Description

So my niece and nephew decided to start collecting Funko Pops and needed a cool modular way of displaying them on their wall.  While there are plenty of modular, hexagon designs out there, I was unhappy with how they all have tabs sticking out that are used for connections, and some of them even have visible nail holes.  So I took it upon myself to create a nice clean design.

Of course they still need to be connected, but instead of having tabs protrude from half the sides, and holes on the other half, I hid holes underneath the design and against the wall, and then printed separate tabs that you only use when connecting two or more of them together.  These tabs basically create hidden dovetail joints, and I made them slightly loose so that you will have no problem connecting them but they would still hold strong.  You can always add a bit of glue to them, but it shouldn't be necessary as gravity will keep them held together.

There is a small nail hole on the back of each shelf that is designed to be large enough for the nails used for small picture hangers.  You won't need to put nails behind each shelf, but I'll leave it to you to determine how many you'll need as you can print as many shelves as you like and arrange them into a wide variety of shapes.  The shelves are very light weight, as are Funko Pops, so I would imagine that two nails would be sufficient for most modest-sized collections.

Unfortunately, these shelves are too large to fit more than one onto a plate (even on an A1 / P1 / X1), so as a result I am only uploading an A1 Mini profile.  The profile contians two plates, one that includes 6 connectors, and one that has 0 connectors.  Each shelf has slots for 12 connectors, but since each connector connectds to a second shelf, you will never need more than 6 connectors per shelf.  Of course, you will always have shelves that do not connect to other shelves on all 6 sides, so you will never need all 6 connectors, thus I created the 0 connector plate for when you already have enough connectors.

Additional modular logos are here for a bit more fun!  Please check out my Modular Hexagon Designs to see some fun designs to add to your Funko Pop shelves.
