Description

If you're a fan of Disneyland, then this snake monument should look familiar.  Located at the entrance of the Indiana Jones Adventure: Temple of the Forbidden Eye, are these ancient snake statues that I turned into a 12" vase.

Everything modeled in Zbrush.  Pieces are split apart and would need to be glued.  There are 2 versions of the bowl piece, one having more decay to it.

I turned mine into a fountain. I glued a old piece of plastic to the bottom and ran my tube through it. then filed it a bit with some pea gravel to give it weight to keep it from tipping. next glued half a old failed pokeball to the basin piece, drilled a hole and ran the tube through that. put more pea gravel in the basin for looks but my pump is a bit to strong and launched some out. Will replace with a smaller one. 5 stars

I love that idea! I just pieced it together in Bambu studio - gonna see how it turns out. My tealight insert is ugly cause I made it for a different model and just wanted to do this quick and dirty... I'll let you know how it turns out.

I ended up redoing the twilight holder cause it was too small. Not bad for me hacking it together in the slicer, but it would probably been a little better if I scaled everything down and printed as pieces. Super nice model though. I just have to get enough of a nice marble filament or something to print out full size

PLEASE make more Disneyland prints. Absolutely blown away by this design, well done. Can’t wait to print this gigantic, or in a future project.

looks fantastic. is that just a black wash over a cream filament for that finish?

Nearly perfect print. Really great design. I actually printed the bowl upside down and it shaved about 2 hours off the print time. I should note, since I flipped it, I also increased the bottom layer thickness to match the top layer thickness.

How big did you print? I was thinking about trying to max out the build plate myself. I bought 2 rolls of filament specifically to print this big

I haven’t done the larger scale one but finished adding some color and adding plants on original size

pieces should been split differently and the curve of the bowl is at some point to much which causes filament wires dropping of the bowl. Considering the whole print it is still a beautyfull piece! I did print the snakes standing up for better Quality.

looks great! the bowl right where the tree supports connect need to have the layer height reduced, but it’s not visible when you put the bowl on. print this one from the desktop app and enable supports and reduce layer height to .08 for that rounded bottom curve on the bowl.

Absolutely amazing print. Had issues getting the fangs in place, had to take a blade and scrape around the tops of the mouth.
