DarwinFPV FoldApe4 Improved Propeller Mount
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a WIP improved propeller mount for the DarwinFPV FoldApe4. I found the factory mount to not inspire confidence as the screws holding in the propellors have to be loose enough to allow the folding mechanism to funtion. This aims to solve this issue by keeping the propellers on the motor mount loose enough to allow the fold mechanism to function, whilst also keeping them secure in flight. This achieves this by mounting the propellers on two posts, that make contact with the motor mount, allowing propeller movement, whilst simultaneously allowing the screws holding on the mount to be screwed on sufficiently tight.
- Printed with BambuLab PETG-HF, 0.2mm nozzle with slightly slower print speeds than the default profile.
- The part should be printed at around a 45-60 degree tilt to allow the posts to be part of the walls - improving strength
- As always, please message me if you would like the f360 files to make adjustments.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED IN FLIGHT
