Boost Me (for free)

I would be very grateful for a boost

This is the launch complex for the Superheavy Booster / Starship Pad - B

Since the launch infrastructure does not yet fully exist the construction is partly based on assumptions and will be updated over time

It is quite a demanding and large project that requires a lot of printing time and material

But it's worth it in my humble opinion

All print plates are labeled so you know what you are printing and can assign it better

Just for your information the tower segment on plate 24 must be printed 5 times. Which segments these are is written on the print plate

Assembly instructions are available below

Update

A few things have changed

The height of the SQD has been corrected downwards by 55 mm which is why the arrangement of the tower sections has changed

Sledges catch arms and SQD have been revised and extended

The retaining clips in the OLM have been changed and fitted with springs to make it easier to insert the booster with the newly created insertion aid

The design of the QD-Hud's has been adapted

Have fun with the implementation

To fix the catch arms at a certain height I added this clamp it is on plate 35

Thank you! Great print 👍 Printed on my X1C in matte light grey PLA, matte dark grey PLA & black PLA+. Very long print but worth it in the end. Printed with makers profile. I think it ended up being 146cm high. Note: If you print this & have the time & filament I would up the infill % a bit as the part joints are quite fragile at 5%. The print won't be moved often presumably but if it is moved I'd be very careful as the joints can snap very easily if flexed too much or you try to dismantle.

I can’t figure out where these go. did not see them in the building instructions and it’s not obvious if they are to go with the catch arms where they’d be.

Please download the new file and read all texts and descriptions. The print plates also indicate which component is which.

This is the best starship tower model that ive 3d printed. The olm seems to be quite strong because I accidentally launched the booster from it. also added a bit of fishing line to the top of the tower so it won't fall over when carrying the booster and ship. Well done to the designer

How did you put the SQD on the tower? If you can, can you put a picture of it? I’m having trouble with it.

How did you align the holes with the tower? I pre- assemble things that had multiple parts in tinkercad or the slicer and this is what I got

Hello great model - exactly what I was looking for I have already printed many parts - but now I'm stuck First: Unfortunately, the STL/CAD files only contain ".mf" files When I try to slice the base plates, the following happens (See screenshot) - Presumably it's due to the Creality slicer - therefore my request for the STL/CAD files, so I can make the top a bit thicker - as it is, it's unfortunately sliced as a hole And that's certainly not how it's supposed to be Best regards Jens

Thanks for your quick reply. Just to be sure: This is how the print should look then, right? Then simply the open side towards the bottom? If yes: Okay - I do prefer closed models for dust and stabilization reasons - but okay :)
