Note: AMS Profiles work without AMS - It will only print the one color

The Design

A Small passthrough Heart for Valentines, Compatible with the Rest of my V3 Series.

The Heart inner is 33mm high by 35mm wide (23mm deep)

The outer part is somewhat fragile - there is a tight balance between it's strength and looking good

Let me know if you experience any issues.

Printing

Please ensure your built plate is clean and your filament is dry - The surface area on the heart inner is quite low, so needs good bed Adhesion.

Because the outer part is a little fragile Silk PLA is not recommended for the outer part

The inner part may need some minor clean up from where it touches the supports / build plate

The settings in my profiles have been optimized for my design, let me know if you have issues and i'll try to help

Once printed let the build plate cool before trying to remove.

I printed this bad boy at like 350% in PLA matte red. I would have went to 400% but I wasnt sure I had enough of that color filament. I printed with adaptive layers and cut the "slow down on overhangs" amounts in half. It turned out absolutely flawless. it was a great valentines gift. she loves it.

For Valentine's Day, each kid in her class brought in something to give out to the other students. We printed 2 batches to get a total of about 24 hearts.

printed more of these S my daughter wanted specific colors. Mint green silk came out great! these also fit in the other v3 designs which make for fun combinations. my current favorite is the tall spiral plus the heart in the middle on the Bambu levitation device. It spins slowly and is so fun.

Bed Adhesion Issue:I tried printing this 3 times, including giving a thorough cleaning to my plate, and it spaghettis at the same point every time. It keeps slipping from the plate at the same layer, and it only happens on the base piece. Disappointing, because the first attempt was with a whole plate full that I set to print overnight because the kids wanted to bring them to schools as valentines.

I'm not sure why that would happen. If the plates been cleaned with soapy water, and the filament is dry it should print fine 99% of the time. I'd maybe suggest try using basic filament and making sure the levelling calibration has been complete. hope this helps

yup freshly cleaned plate, using regular PLA at 10% humidity. I'm going to try one more time and add a brim to see if that helps keep it from slipping
