Milwaukee M18 3650-22CT Packout Insert
Print Profile(2)

Description
I couldn't find any insert online that fit this set of M18 impact and drill so over the holidays I created this insert as my first project learning plasticity.
Please note that this is for personal use only, for the commercial licensed version please check out STL file Milwaukee M18 3650-22CT Packout Insert 𧰠(3MF)ăť3D print model to downloadăťCults .
This insert fits both the drill and Impact as well as a compartment for one Milwaukee RedLithium CP 2.0 battery.
Original Kit model was 3650-22CT but it appears that Milwaukee has updated this to 3692-22CT.
There are 3 additional compartments for storing bits or other accessories such as the belt clips (Note that their is not enough clearance for belt clips to be installed.Â
Â
Between the drill and the impact i personally store a Shockwave impact bit puck upside down.
If you are not using bit holders you can alternatively store an extra RedLithium CP 2.0 battery can be stored upside down as well in this spot and shown in the photos however there will not be enough clearence with bit holders.
I will have a print profile for all one color or with two a tone color scheme.
Recommend printing in ABS or PC if your planning on storing inside your car in direct sun but for my personal use I used PETG HF but for a home user PLA could also suffice.
Special thanks goes out to @andrewjmark, whose blank insert model i used for this design, very nice of him to offer such a broad use license on his model which can serve as the basis for many others to utilise.
V1.1
- Added cutouts to Drill and Impact inlays to accommodate bit holders with small shockwave bits, notably those from @kcskrafts.
- Model here: Rack'em Up - Milwaukee M18 Bit Holder by kcskrafts - MakerWorld
- You can see in some of the photos that the regular shockwave impact bits in the bit holder have good clearance.
- Added a thumb cutout to make retrieving the battery easier as shown in one photo, makes retrieving the battery easier.
- Small cutout under battery was added as i shaved off 2mm of the original underside to better accommodate the additional height from the bit holder or storing a second battery between drill and impact driver.
Appreciate any feedback and will look at implementing any advice given.
