Description

Another tape measure spool.  This snap-together spinning tape measure spool has a spinning handle as well as the main spool section.

I recommend PETG or PETG-HF.  It may work but, I do not recommend PLA.

If you want to print in PLA, and/or see the latest remix please see:

Version 6 has been uploaded with a bigger crank handle and changed print orientation more suitable PLA (but recommend PETG) please find it here:

Version 7 has been uploaded without a crank handle, suitable for PLA or PETG.

Previous UPDATE:

Now three different Print Profile versions uploaded for 17 mm or 20 mm wide tapes (20mm wide versions are available in Canada at Dollarama).

Version 5

  • Covered spool section;
  • 2 options, with maximums of either:
    • 17mm; or
    • 22 mm wide tape measures
  • PETG recommended

Version 4

  • for the larger 20 mm wide tapes
  • slightly thicker walls than version 3
  • PETG recommended

Version 3

  • the original build that was published to MakerWorld,
  • 19mm high, or 22 mm high designed for 17 mm or 20 mm wide tapes respectively.
  • These heights do not include the spinning handle.
  • Will probably fail in PLA, recommend PETG or stronger.

All versions Snaps together (no glue), they have a spinning handle, no supports required to print,  If you only have PLA, please see the Version 6.
