Motorbike Flip Plate - WR125X - Universal
Print Profile(5)

Description
(This bracket was designed for my WR125X but should be able to fit on most Bikes)
Quickly:
- This should be printed in PETG AT LEAST and in the orientation it comes in in the file
- please leave comments and suggestions for other bikes/ideas or issues
- I've had this on my bike since the 31st of December and its holding up well
- This was my first real project so feedback is welcome
- Fits standard Size or 7x5inch (small) number plate
Requirements:
4X m3x10mm, 4X m3x16mm, 16X m3 Nut
(this is the kit I got for 3d prints)

(Also 2X m5x20-30mm for mounting)
2X Adjustable torque hinges

(there are similar hinges that you can print from another creator although I have not tested them on the bike)

Assembly:
First you should get your 10mm and 16 mm bolts and thread one nut all the way on to act as a washer (I didn't have any that worked but if you do use them).
Then you should press the remaining 8X m3 nuts into the slots on the bracket

if the fitment is too tight you can press them in on a flat surface

Then line up the holes on the hinges with the holes on the bracket with the 90 degree bend, use the 16mm screws to loosely secure the hinge.
Do the same with all holes and then the other piece of the bracket and tighten everything fully, it should look like this.

(you can loosen and readjust the positioning to make sure the gap in the middle is even)
Mounting:
To mount you plate on the bracket you can use the plastic screws most plates have or some other nuts and bolts you have around m5 at the biggest

The indicator mounts go in-between the mount and the bike filling in the space:
(on the WR the longer indicator piece goes on the exhaust side)

And to mount the whole thing on the WR I used some holes that where already on the bike
2X m5 20-30mm
(First picture is under the rear plastics)

To mount it on other bikes you can make holes in your fender or the frame as long as its flat, leave comments and suggestion for changes and adaptations to fit other bikes.
Operation
Once is installed you can adjust the amount of force needed to flip the plate by loosening or tightening the two Philips head screws on the hinges, then when on the bike reach back with your right hand (on the WR) and push the plate back towards the rear fender to flip the plate up (it should hold its position) and then reach back and flip it down/towards you to put it back to normal.
