Joying 1 din holder 97-01 Subaru Forester/Impreza
Print Profile(1)

Description
I modified Yanev's original design to allow a Joying single din touch screen head unit to be mounted on the dashboard of a 1997 - 2001 Subaru Forester or Impreza (that has a forester dashboard). The original model was too large for the gauge housing as it was originally intended for gauges or a compass. It retains the tilt functionality as well and you can reach the adjustment screws from either side with a very long screwdriver.
The original radio locations in these cars is not very practical, especially with the manual transmission. To fix this, you can purchase the Subaru Performance Gauge Housing (H0017FC910OE) directly from Subaru for about $60. It replaces the storage cubby on the dash and lets you mount a single din radio there instead. You can then fill the empty space where the original radio was with single din storage pockets (66511FA070) (I recommend you get these from a junkyard).
Please visit the original model page for the rest of the files. I only modified the T1_Hinge_Unit.3mf
The assembled model requires:
- 8 M3x8 screws for mounting the clips
- 4 M4x20 screws for attaching the screen
- 4 M4 nuts for attaching the screen
I also recommend swapping out the screws for the clips on the back of the screen for some M2.5x6 hex screws as the Philips ones it comes with are easy to strip.
Printed in Polymaker Polylite translucent clear PETG on a Bambu A1 mini.
