Description

Hey all, the Gridfinity ecosystem is actually quite perfect for this kind of thing so I'm kinda surprised I couldn't find it out there already. This forced me to try my own design. I'm not a pro and this isn't perfect but our little man is loving it so I thought I'd share it with everyone. I am still working on a few more ideas but this is a great place to start. Some pieces will definitely require supports, but all should print pretty easily. I created this to work with the typical 16mm glass marbles because thats what we have all over the house and they work just fine. I did however have the best results with steel bearings because they are perfectly round and heavier so they carry a little more momentum (I had some 12mm bearings laying around that worked great). Anyway, I hope someone finds this to be as much fun as our little guy does.

If you find this useful then shoot me a boost and a like!! I'd sure love to see pics of your marble run too! Thank you and happy printing!

ATTN:  I would not recommend using any filaments that have a tendency to swell or have poor layer adhesion like silks or dual extrusion.  I had ZERO issues using basic or pro PLA from Bambu and Polymaker, but when I tried a dual extrusion PLA from another brand, I did have an issue with the tabs on the bridge pieces getting stuck and breaking off.  Maybe just try printing a couple test pieces with your filament of choice first.

ATTN ATTN:  I have teamed up with Pete who has been making some really awesome pieces.  I am including a link below of a collection that contains all the pieces we have added.  We will update this collection every time we add pieces so if you are diggin this marble run, make sure you follow the collection!

All the Filaments I used here are Polymaker Luminous PLA (this stuff is the best glow in the dark Ive used period)
