Description
This model turns your disposable cardboard spools into reusable ones!!
- First get print all the pieces and get all the tools that you will need (see BOM below⬇️). (The reinforcement piece is optional but is recommended)
- Run a file around the thread to get rid of access filament and stringing.
- Take your cardboard spool and pull off both sides.
- Put the aligning tool centered on it.
- Use the precision-cutter to trace the aligning tool.
- Then line up the center, cardboard spool, (reinforcement piece), and the screw.
- Take a flathead screwdriver and screw in all the screws. repeat steps 4-7 for the other side.
- Take your refill roll line up with the notch.
- Then take the other side and screw them together.
- finally, you can put it on your ams or external spool and enjoy!!
