iDS Stand

I really like clamshell gaming handhelds like the NDS, but there are few such products on the market now. Modern smartphones are actually very powerful, & we always carry them with us, so why not use them for gaming? Therefore, I designed this stand to combine a controller and a phone into a handheld device, tentatively named iDS. I designed it to be compatible with iPhone 17 Pro Max (or any phone with a MagSafe receiver and a width less than 77mm) and the Ryhure retro card gaming controller. You will also need a MagSafe emitter magnet to complete this stand.

The stand is currently functional, and I am still iterating and optimizing the design. Feel free to try it out and offer suggestions/feedback. Here are some known issues:

1. Top-heavy and doesn't conform to the hand (I do not plan to address this issue, as there is already a solution on the site that meets these conditions, and this project focuses on portability and ease of carrying).
2. Prone to breakage, especially when inserting/removing the controller, requiring caution (expected to be resolved)
3. The hinge has no dampening or limit, so it can only be used at specific angles (seems unresolvable). Please ensure phone safety when using it; playing while walking is strongly discouraged.
4. The controller's pairing button cannot be used while in the stand (expected to be resolved), the data cable cannot be connected (seems unresolvable), and the home button is difficult to press (expected to be resolved).
