Description

Update 26/05/26: Many Thanks to user @andrewscott for pointing out that the sides on the lids were a bit on the thin side, and to be honest, he is right! So I have added V2 lids with twice the side thickness (new print profie and STLs above) and they will forever be known as the Andrew Scott Editions!

Sooooo for Chrimbo I received a rather expensive gift.
The reason I didn't own one already was the price, especially with shipping to Aus.

Anyway to protect this niche handheld, I built a hard case.

The higher the infill. the harder the case, but also the harder to bend the case to insert the playdate. I did test print 100% infill and it works fine, if less bendy.

I designed three cases:
01 is the yellow one shown in the photos with playdate and Panic logos
02 has a diagonal ridge line pattern on base and top
03 is a blank case with no pattern for you to edit, or not.

If you want to use a booklight then there is a spot to attach one.
If you want to use it as, say, a bedside clock then if you open the case fully it will stand up.

May your Root Bear always pour root beer to perfection :)
