Description

My first shot at making a clock dial for 24-hour clock movements (where the hour hand moves around the dial once daily instead of twice). I wanted a clock with noon at the top and midnight at the bottom.

The numbers and ticks are from a vector I made years ago in Inkscape. The next iteration will use thicker numbers and fewer ticks. They were a little too small for the printer to do a great job in some areas. Still, it looks great on a wall. This is just a disc; be sure to get a movement with hanging hardware.

I've added hands that look much better (and are stiffer) than those in my original photo. These hands were made for an OK888 24-hour movement. These use press-fit hands with 3.1mm diameter for the minute shaft and 5.0mm for the hour shaft, similar to other “12888” style movements.
