Bio
I'm an IT engineer veteran of over 20 years. I work for a well-known software and services company, and as a result end up supporting very large customers in complex enterprise environments. That's why I chose to go the Bambu Lab route as their printers "just work" and I do not want to come home from a long day of fixing things only to have to fix more things to get my (hopefully relaxing) hobby to work.
I got my first printer in 11/2023, but I ramped up fast and am constantly learning. I try to spread the knowledge and experience I picked up in the process - This is the way!

A new friend told me she liked Sailor Moon, so I looked online and found your model. I feel like I seriously hit the jack pot (boost incoming)!
I used GIANTARM gold silk and Bambu Lab pink PLA. I used ZIRO translucent glitter caramel and red for 2 of the gems, and eSun Chamelon green for the other gem. I used GIANTARM glow-in-the-dark white (which is more like light blue) for the main power gem. It looked like others found a different model with flat sides for the power gem that I tried to find but this one worked out fine.
I switched up using different layer heights for various parts to try and minimize layer lines as much as possible. I also used 3 walls with Inner/Outer/Inner to make the walls as uniform as possible.
The stand I used (and modified) can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/579021-sailor-moon-moon-stick-stand
Thank you for making and sharing a truly amazing model. You helped me score major brownie points with my new friend.

Once again you knocked it out of the park. I think these are even better than the love dragons, but then again green is my favorite color. I already bossed before this review!
I printed 3 variants of the mini-dragons (5 plates in total) for both my kids to hand out at school and also to hand out at one of my meetings. I may have gone...overboard. :-)
Thank you once again for making and sharing your amazing models with the world. You put smiles on people's faces and I try to pay it forward.
