Took my original drywall screw hook and made the version I actually needed in the garage.
Bigger opening
More material where it matters
Handles cords, lumber, and heavier awkward stuff way better
Ran it through some real-world testing and got it past 200 lbs before anything gave.
Curious what you guys would hang on this—always looking for use cases I didn’t think of.

The post is no longer available
I had printed one of these almost 5 years ago and made it out of PLA. Lasted outdoors with minimal issue. This model now printed fantastically with PETG. Hope it out-lasts the speaker!

This is a remix of an excellent TP-Link Deco M9 ceiling mount by user_4232284023
The goal of this remix was simple: shorten the retaining tabs to make insertion easier while keeping the original rock-solid fit, and add a dedicated receptacle for the AC power adapter so the entire setup can hang cleanly from a standard wall outlet—no shelf, no screws, no mess.
What’s changed
Shorter retaining tabs for easier installation and removal

The story behind this model: This Apple Watch stand started as a learning exercise in real-world 3D design—working with tolerances, press-fit parts, and print-friendly geometry instead of abstract shapes. It went through several iterations to balance stability, clean printing, and everyday usability. I’m sharing it as part of learning to design in public. Feedback, prints, Boosts, or tips are all appreciated and help support continued learning and future designs.

One of the most fun prints I've made on my printer. In fact, I've made a few TOO MANY! LOL. Have given them as gifts. It's nice to be able to make them in several different colors and configurations. The fact that I can have a version of the Ridge wallet (albeit not metal) is amazing. Having this many of those would have me in the poor house. I also used a textured "Carbon Fiber" build plate and that one turned out really cool! Experiment and have fun mixing and matching colors, textures etc!
Super functional, very durable and I like that there are other versions that are bulky and smaller. This version bridges the gap between the "Rugged" model and the "Minimal" versions perfectly. I use it now everyday!

Functional and useful print! Printed from my phone only to realize it was a little small...had I paid better attention, I would have known it was able to be modified!!! Fantastic! Now I have these on a couple notebooks and they work perfect customized to my pen and book sizes! Thanks!

Good simple wallet. Not sure what purpose the scalloped cut outs are for except maybe to get your finger under the band. That said, I think that's not necessary nor is the long strip along that side either. Heck for an even more minimal setup, you could just use the one side that holds the band.
In any case, now I'm a case printing addict. I've got more of the MMPrinting wallets around my house than I'll use in 10 years. Time to make gifts of some of them!

This model came from wanting to bring existing desktop items into my new Gridfinity desk setup without redesigning everything.
I already had useful prints and accessories — a pen box, an iPhone stand, and other things — that weren’t originally made for Gridfinity. Rather than reprint or remodel them, I designed these retrofit plates to glue onto the bottom and make them Gridfinity-compatible.
They also double as space fillers for unused grid spots, keeping layouts clean and intentional.

Excellent. After struggling with previous prints, similar to this, this one turned out marvelous!
