Conversation Dice

These are conversation dice. One die has wh- question words (e.g., who, what, etc.). Another has general topics (family, food, music). The third die has weather words (sun, rain). The fourth lists common farm animals (cow, chicken). The fifth die is blank to add your own words.

I designed these to help adult English language learners spontaneously generate questions and answers. They could also be used for an ice breaker activity ("what's your favorite food?") For more advanced students, the dice could be used to create basic questions for a short research project (e.g., rolling "what" and "chicken" suggests "what do chickens eat?").
