🕒 Clock Hand Set – Compatible with Central Axis Movements

This model includes a set of minimalist clock hands for central axis clock movements.

The file includes:

✅ Hour hand

✅ Minute hand

✅ Second hand

✅ Second hand counterweight

The design is intentionally simple so it can be easily integrated into your own clock creations.

⚠ IMPORTANT BEFORE DOWNLOADING

I prefer to be completely transparent regarding this model.

The hour and minute hands generally print without any particular difficulty.

However, the second hand is a very thin and relatively demanding part to print.

The result heavily depends on many factors:

  • filament brand
  • filament color
  • filament type (PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS...)
  • Print temperature
  • Retraction
  • Cooling
  • Print speed
  • Nozzle condition
  • Printer calibration

For example, with my own settings:

✅ Red PLA: perfect print without modification

⚠ White PLA: requires temperature and retraction adjustments to obtain a clean result

Two different filaments can produce totally different results with exactly the same file.

🔧 WHAT YOU ARE DOWNLOADING

You are downloading the files I personally use on my clocks.

These files are functional, but they should be considered a working base.

Depending on your printer and filament, it may be necessary to adapt certain parameters to obtain the best possible result.

💡 PRINTING RECOMMENDATIONS

For the second hands:

  • Print slowly
  • Use good cooling
  • Check retraction parameters
  • Check nozzle condition
  • Perform a test with your filament before final production

Users already accustomed to printing fine parts should not encounter any particular difficulty.

🎯 FOR WHOM?

This model is primarily intended for:

  • Makers
  • Custom clock creators
  • Users already having some 3D printing knowledge
  • People wishing to customize their own projects
