Description
I present a box with a latch and plenty of storage space. The latch offers additional storage space and a mount for a bit holder and an extension. For assembling the box, 2x M3 countersunk screws with a length of 25mm are required, as well as 2x M3 heat-set inserts, which are pressed into the inner hinges of the bottom part. The heat-set inserts have an outer diameter of 4mm; accordingly, the hole in the hinge is designed for a precise fit. The box has an internal dimension of approximately 214mm x 50mm (70mm). The bottom part's height is approximately 26mm, and the top part has approximately 17mm of free space. There are many possibilities to design and use custom-fit inserts. The box's latch is precisely fitted, easy to handle, and tactile.
