Description
This 3D model is a retainer clip for exterior shutters, designed to keep the shutter securely open and protected from wind movement.
It’s composed of two interlocking parts that ensure a firm hold while allowing easy release when needed.
The design is optimized for outdoor use, with a geometry that provides both strength and durability under sun exposure and changing weather conditions.
Important: Pay attention to the printing position!
The pieces should be as shown in the Bambu Studio 3MF or as shown in image 2.
Recommended materials:
- ASA → Best option for UV and weather resistance
- PETG → Good durability and flexibility
- ABS → Usable if protected with UV-resistant paint
Printing recommendations:
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: 40–60%
- Supports required
- Wall thickness: 4–5 perimeters
