- Spool Sticker x 1: Take one spool sticker from an existing Bambu Spool and cut to size with scissors and stick onto area on the clock face model to add a nice detail to your clock!
Description
This small table clock is inspired by the design of the Bambu Spools. I wanted to keep as many visual details of the original spool as possible but scale it right down to look cool as a desk clock. It worked out great and really looks like a tiny spool!
Compatible with the Bambu Clock Kit. Building it is very satisfying, all parts fit snugly together and the print feels really solid. I included two slightly different styles of clock hands for you to choose from.
Its personal preference, but I found that printing on a smooth plate gave the closest result to the big Bambu spools but printing on a textured plate will also be fine.
The hands fit very tight onto clock spindle. If there is any trouble getting them on try scraping the inside of the hand hole with something sharp or scaling them up a tiny bit in bambu studio. Either way will work fine.
One cool detail I added here was to take the side sticker included with Bambu spools and cut it to size to fit the space on the clock face, it adds a nice detail and is a cool way to customise your clock.
Im looking forward to seeing the different colour combos you want to print this in! For reference i used all Bambu Filaments in the pictures..
Jade White Basic, Bambu Green Basic and Latte Brown Matte.
