Print Clinic | Print Fail? Let's Fix It Together
Print Clinic | Print Fail? Let's Fix It Together

Hey makers 👋

Bad first layer?

Spaghetti print?

Stringing everywhere?

Warped corners?

Nozzle clog right when the print was almost done?

Yep, we’ve all been there.

That’s why we’re opening Print Clinic — a community space for sharing print issues, troubleshooting together, and helping each other get better prints.

When you need help, post with #PrintClinic

Whether you’re brand new to 3D printing or you’ve already rescued a dozen failed prints, you’re welcome here. Ask questions, share what worked, compare settings, and help fellow makers get unstuck.

📌 New to 3D Printing? Start Here

We highly recommend checking out Bambu Lab Academy first. You can learn the basics of machine setup, filament loading, first prints, slicer settings, and common troubleshooting.

Where to find it:

  • Mobile: Bambu Handy App → Me → Learning
  • Web: Bambu Lab website → Bambu Lab Academy (Direct link: https://bambulab.com/en-us/support/academy)

Still have questions after checking the guides? Come back and drop a post here with #PrintClinic.

🚨 Print Emergency? Call the AI Doctor

Can't wait for a reply? Get an instant "triage" from our [Online Tech Support]! Describe your symptoms, and the AI will instantly prescribe troubleshooting steps and slicer tweaks.

🏥 What Should You Post in #PrintClinic?

If it’s about making your print succeed, tweaking slicer settings, handling filament, or optimizing print quality, it belongs in #PrintClinic!

Typical topics include:

  • Print Failures: Poor bed adhesion, warping, stringing, clogs, under-extrusion, or layer shifts.
  • Slicer & Settings: Support struggles, print profiles, and tuning (layer lines, Z seams, speeds).
  • Filament & Hardware Tuning: AMS multicolor issues, wet filament handling, or dialing in temps for PETG/ABS/TPU.

Not sure what’s wrong? Just post a photo/video and tell us what you're seeing. The community will help you figure it out.

⚠️ For other issues, please use the right channels:

📋 How to Ask for Help

The more context you share, the faster the community can diagnose the issue. To get the best help, please include:

  • The Basics: Printer model + specific issue + photos/videos. (e.g., "A1 mini stopped extruding mid-print. Suspecting a clog. Video attached.")
  • Context & Clues: Filament type, key settings, and what troubleshooting steps you've already tried.

💡 Pro-Tip: Grab the copy-ready post template in the pinned comment!

✅Critical Step: Close the Loop (Mark as Solved)

If a solution works, close the case! Update your post and share the "Magic Fix."
(e.g., "Solved! Switched to a Gyroid infill and the nozzle stopped hitting the print.")
Your failed print today is someone else’s lifesaver tomorrow.

👨 Want to Help? Jump In!

If you’ve solved a similar issue before, jump into #PrintClinic and help someone out. You don’t need to be a pro. A simple setting tweak, a comparison photo, or a quick checklist can save someone hours of trial and error.

A great response usually covers:

  • The "Why" & "How": What you think the issue is, and clear steps to fix it.
  • The Details: Specific settings like temps, speeds, or cooling.
  • A Friendly Vibe: Remind them we've all printed spaghetti before!

💡 Note: If it looks like hardware damage or a critical error code, warmly point the user to Bambu Lab Tech Support.

🌟 Helpful Answers Unlock Awesome Perks

We’ll be keeping an eye out for helpful contributors and high-value troubleshooting posts. Great contributions can unlock awesome perks:

  • 📚 Credited Case Studies: High-quality answers will be collected and turned into official Print Clinic case studies or articles. You will be forever credited as the author of the solution.
  • 🏆 Monthly Spotlights: Helpful makers who consistently solve problems will get a shout-out and be featured in our community roundups.
  • 🎁 Exclusive Beta Access: Trusted contributors may get priority invitations to test new filaments, hardware kits, and upcoming product features!

Let’s make Print Clinic useful, friendly, and actually helpful.

💡 Just a heads-up: 3D printing involves a ton of variables like filament condition and room environment. Community tips are based on personal trial-and-error, so your mileage may vary. Also, to keep the Clinic tidy, off-topic chatter may be relocated!

@._Adrien_. @user_3199911553 : Hello, this might be if you have the timelapse feature turned on, try setting the timelapse toggle to (OFF) before starting the print, let me know if this fixes it.
