Hey MakerWorld community, (Pleas read and leave comments i really would like to hear some opinions :) I wanted to share my recent experience because I think it highlights a bigger issue with how the Exclusive Program is being enforced. I recently had my spiral pass-through fidget model taken from the Exclusive Program, along with ~2000 points deducted from my account. According to the team, they considered it a “variant” of existing models, and therefore not eligible for the Exclusive Program. But here’s the problem: I designed my model entirely from scratch. I went through dozens of prototypes to perfect the size, tolerances, and feel. I created all original visuals, descriptions, and promotional material. The concept of a spiral pass-through fidget is not owned or patented by anyone. It’s a mechanical idea shared by the whole community. Meanwhile, I’ve seen many other creators with multiple variations of their fidget models. some clearly far less original than mine. still live and still earning points under the Exclusive Program. What’s frustrating isn’t just the takedown, it’s that I wasn’t warned, I wasn’t given the chance to remove it myself, and all the points I earned were erased, despite the work being original and submitted in good faith. I love this community, and I want to keep contributing, but this kind of enforcement makes it hard to stay motivated. Please comment: thoughts, criticism and comments ill be reading everything.
