š¾ About the CR Pet Feeder Project

You can find many automatic pet feeder projects online, but this project was created to address their biggest limitations. Here is what makes it unique:
- Dedicated Android App: I created a custom Android application. Unlike most DIY projects that only work on a local home network, this app allows you to fully control the feeder from anywhere in the world.
- Extremely Simple Assembly: The project is designed so that anyone can easily build it. You don't need any soldering skills. The only electronics required are an ESP32 board and a single MG996R servo motor.
- Effortless Programming: Forget about installing IDEs or writing code. Flashing the precompiled firmware to the ESP32 is done with a single click directly from your web browser (see instructions for details).

ā ļø Important Safety Instructions:
I personally tested this device for a week and it worked flawlessly, but mechanical devices and Wi-Fi networks can be unpredictable. Food jams, power outages,Ā
or temporary internet connection losses can always happen.

For this reason, the food hopper has been deliberately designed to be reasonably compact. This device is meant to conveniently feed your pet during the day (e.g., when you are at work), but I strongly advise against leaving your pet alone with it for more than 1 day, and absolutely not during a long vacation. Safety first!
- 3D Printing Tip: For printing components that come into direct contact with pet food, I highly recommend using food-safe filaments, such as Bambu Lab PLA Pure.
