I think this was the second thing I ever printed.

make sure to print in PETG or better. PLA in my circumstance eventually warped and the covers wouldn't stay on.

it's a cute idea for remembering the prints of yore. make sure to drop the lines in with the short angle facing out. they tend to get stuck when lifting and setting back down the top glass plate.

fantastic relocator. I've been using it nonstop for months.

tollwr works a little too well! some of my spools of PLA move a little too freely and get unwound a few turns. it doesn't really mess with the functionality tho.

I loved the print but I cheaped out on magnets. don't cheap out on your magnets!

I love this design! I had to fight with the sheet metal a bit installing it, and might have permanently modified one of the screw holes, so I guess I'm a lifer now lol. nothing some high heat epoxy resin can't fix if I want to put something else back there.

mine broke pretty easily but this was printed before I was wise and experienced in the ways of not using PLA for everything

it seems to work fine but I don't know how hard it is to get the plate in without considering this was like my third print lmao

Very well designed, and just fun to make! People have complained about having to set so many heat set inserts to make the press. I say unto them "The apprentice must first master the ancient art of 1000 manual heat set insert installations before they can know the great power of the Press." Also this is really for doing a bunch of inserts in an efficient and quick manner, it's not necessarily to replace the act of manual setting entirely. Anyway, it's fantastic.

So far, of all the chutes I have printed, this has been the simplest and most effective design. Good work!

I made this on my P1S with wayyyyy incorrect settings and it made it look like a weethered, sea-worn boat. I gave it to a friend and they loved it. I did finally get ABS dialed in.

This is auch a cool modification! I pulled it off, though my attempt is ugly lol. I am going to try again for a cleaner set up once this cast is off of my hand.
