First Benchy: June 2025, first failed print: June 2025, first time convincing the wife the printer and ams and all the money spent on filament and accessories was worth the investment: pending.
Wife's school has a Bee theme, and asked me for something that can attach to staff lanyards. This worked perfectly as is. And if they have a Stanley they get a Bee topper! haha.

Bro 6 stars. Previous to this mod I was idling at around 63 to 65 degrees, with my HDDs sitting at around 42. I'm on Unraid, and unfortunately too lazy to install a Linux VM to stress test properly, but during parity checks I'd hit about 75-80 degrees with disks hitting 50 before Unraid paused it to cool down (only realized this was a lower threshold than necessary for my disks recently). After this mod I'm at idling at 51-53 degrees, with HDDs sitting at around 35 degrees. Just a fantastic improvement. edit: Minor FYI for any newbie who prints this model, this isn't as quick of a swap as I hoped. Had to remove the entire device from the case to get the fan cable off, which means unscrewing the power button with a flexy screw driver. Only feedback about the model is the tabs at the top don't really hold onto the frame, I think they could be a bit bigger, but m3x10 screws seem to hold the plate on pretty well so as long as I'm not carrying it by the back plate, it's fine.

This model made me so mad at myself. For a year been struggling with a POS stand that I bought that wouldn't let the charging puck sit flush on the back of the watch. Finally gave this model a shot, first try no fuss flush connection between the charger and puck. I should have printed this a year ago. I hate me.

I have never seen this show, but knew my coworker was into it. I made her one of these and dropped it on her desk when she wasn't there. about 10 minutes later she's a little bit freaking out about somebody leaving a creepy symbol from Yellowjackets on her desk and she's trying to figure out who is messing with her. Best accidental troll ever.

Of all the fidgets I've printed this is the most popular with my family, and infinitely more satisfying than any other "fabric" print I've made. I'd love a 256 full bed profile. Little quirks of the geometry leave two corner pieces hanging by a single link. I also wonder what it would feel like if the edges had single line links that held the edges together, would that impact the "flexibility?"

I only chose this model because I wanted to spend the last little bit of my sample filament. I had a happy little accident though when I ran out of filament early on the 16th layer which forced me to load up my black PLA to finish the print. Having a multicolor is WAY better than if it was just green alone. Print failed successfully! If the designer could create an multi color AMS model for this I'd print a ton of them. I guess I need to learn how to modify models/profiles so I could do it myself. I might try to modify this one and create one that all spin on the same axis, or maybe alternate 90 degrees at every circle. Each one having a different rotational axis is neat, but I think I'd prefer a consistent axis.

Not a great fit for the AMS Hub. Printed this one because I wanted a slide with a removable tray that fit with the anti vibration feet, and surprisingly few models out there do both. Went to install and it and the cable guide plate forces the cable at a bad angle. Tried quite a few different ways to get it to work and decided to skip the plate. Then when I was screwing in the slide I realized the top of the slide being covered makes no sense without the plate. Disliked it so much I decided to ditch this one and removed the anti vibration feet and went with a different model. 360g of filament wasted. A redesign of the cable guide plate to accommodate the AMS Hub would be helpful. Or just ditch the plate altogether, I've yet to have that cable cause a problem, but then you'd need to cut the top "lid wall" of the slide off so it doesn't look goofy af.

This print is when I graduated from hearing "Oh you spent $1200+ dollars on a printer, ams, accessories and an ungodly amount of filament to print a little boat and some fidgets?" to "Oh this is kinda useful!" Thank you! Now I don't have to divorce her for not getting it!

This is the one you want. First failed print was a print in place model where you place the tool in mid print, but all the bends are inconsistent and no way to predict it for everybody's individual allen keys. This is one works perfectly because it's more forgiving of the bend radius's and still locks in place solidly. Great design for a tricky problem.

This is a perfect little tool. I bought 3rd party A1 wipers on Amazon, they didn't fit flush so I had to shave off like .5 a millimeter off the ends with a razer blade, but took half a second at most and seems most likely just because it's a cheap 3rd party wiper.

Bought the AMS Hub instead of Buffer for future proofing, also using an external spool in port 4. Still exprimenting with the configuration and layout to find my best setup. It only took me one try to try to release the ptfe tube without a tool to come find this. A little tough to click in, but they stay in place and are super convenient. I can even one hand release the tubes when the printer is running through AMS to move the external spool!

Lot of other options apparently didn't sit flush, glad I found this one. Latches in perfectly, and sits perfectly flush with the case. Pardon the garbage picture, machine is mid print and I didn't dare touch it to get better lighting.

I really like that the extra feature is that it extends the handle to lift the glass. Quick and simple print, very smooth rotation. I don't love that it overhangs the front of the case when not in use though. Kind of wish that it could fold backwards onto itself instead but that would be a more complicated hinge.

This is super useful. I wish there was a metal section of the side panel I could stick it to, but velcro command strip worked fine for this. Two minor critique though. I wish there was a spot to store the loading stick. Perhaps a loop or a pocket to drop the stick through, as of right now I have nowhere to store it. Now it joins the ranks of the many tools with no home on my printing table. Second issue is I wish there was a front brim to the lid to make it easier to pry off, using a finger nail on the side or having to grab a screw driver is a bit annoying.

Pretty genius design. I wonder how we could modify it to retract the blade into the handle when not in use, or perhaps store a few extra blades in the handle. Would defeat the purpose of being low filament cost though.

Fantastic design and printed perfectly and quickly! I was planning on printing the bracket, but honestly the magnets hold it well enough I don't think I need it! I appreciated the multiple plate options giving me the chance to pick the right size magnets. My magnets were slightly too big 6x2.2 but I was able to press them in with a small tool for a pressure fit and avoided needing glue. I wish I could say this was my first bigger print, but I wasted about 370g of filament on a worse chute that was a pain to install and didn't even work well. More filament for a worse experience. Should have started here. Two minor suggestions; the first would be offering a plate chute plate for anti vibration feet, as I had to switch back to standard feet for this model. A second suggestion would be a semi circle that could wrap around the base of the foot to eliminate the need for a bracket completely. 10/10, won't have to print again, but definitely would if somebody buys me a second printer!
