I needed to rest the access point on top of a piece of furniture but couldn't find anything I liked. So I decided to give it a try.
For the mounting screws, I used the ones that came with the access point, which is why they are too long (for U6-IW mounting). I will see if I can replace them with something shorter and with a bolt at the back.
Since the temperature this device reaches is high , PETG is preferred as if PLA will bend over time.

UPDATE 11/11/2023:
I found that it is also compatible with the new U6+ (The former Lite), not 100% but using only 2 out of 4 screws, mounted slightly rotated (see photo).
