In my home office, I needed both a WiFi access point and some wired network connections. That is why I purchased a Ubiquiti U6 In-Wall (U6-IW).
However, I faced an issue: I couldn't route a network cable through the wall. To solve this, I designed a surface-mounted box that allows me to route a network cable to the back of the U6-IW and mount it to the wall. The box supports the metalic base plate of the U6-IW, onto which the U6-IW itself is then attached.
