Description

Simplify the A1's AMS structure and reduce weight so it can be mounted on a gantry.

It is necessary to disassemble the original AMS LITE parts and PCB and reinstall them on the new mechanism.

The feeding mechanism and the filament are separated to reduce the weight burden of the gantry.

The new mechanism can be matched with various drying boxes to store and use filaments.

This is another simple AMS mechanism I designed for A1 mini.

The print was good but i disassembled the mount. I have also for this not enoug height 🙈

@grwang41 What do you do with the rfid wires? Does it work without them or do they have to be wrapped up in the box somehow?

RFID only targets the use of original filament, so the simplified version of AMS does not have an RDIF antenna and does not affect the normal operation of AMS.

Why would you go to the trouble of spending upwards of £229 on an AMS to take it apart and void your warranty?

Because the original design takes up too much space, and the official gantry erection solution is too bulky, I only need the filament entry function of ams, which can be easily accessed from any drying box.

I purchased my A1 without the AMS Lite, so I'm wondering if I printed this and purchased the AMS lite Feeder Unit for 1/2 and 3/4 would I need anything else to run the AMS Lite?
