I've added a slight 1500 mm radius to create some preload. The snap-latch is now also preloaded more.
Also the print in place hinge was tweaked. It is now hopefully easier to print - but I must admit I do not recall problems with previous design.
I highly recommend using PET-G or ABS for the print as PLA's stiffness is not good for the clip. Also, PLA suffers from what I can describe as ambient temperature creep - these hinges from PLA give in after some time and the clip stops being keeping the bag somewhat airtight.
STLs named “brim” have custom brim-like spots to help with ABS. But heated chamber is probably required anyway.
If you want to create your own custom length, it should be possible to do it by “pulling” correct faces in STEP.
If you are brave enough, f3d source file is included. To change the length there, Go to sketch “Change length” and that's it. To change the snap-latch preload, edit Extrusion length of “Extrude6”. But keep the “-d18” there, otherwise the model will no longer be customizable.
Regarding high joint clearance - I had problems with the two parts fusing together when printed with 0.6 nozzle. The way it is now is less precise but also less difficult to print.
