Introducing the Sith Holocron, a meticulously designed creation from the ground up using Onshape. This unique piece draws inspiration from a Holocron found on Thingiverse, with an added touch of the Sith Holocron inscription seamlessly incorporated into the diffuser.
The base features a strategically designed cylinder to elegantly accommodate an LED strip. Achieving a striking effect, approximately 30 LEDs can be arranged closely by folding the strip and aligning the LED chips.
Assembly is a breeze – affix the intricate inscription panels onto the rear of the side panels and securely glue the side panels together. Ensure precise alignment by utilizing the side panel jig to achieve perfectly squared corners. Once the side panels are seamlessly joined, affix the LEDs to the base and thread the wires through the designated slot. For enhanced light diffusion, consider adding cotton wool or fiber fill around the LEDs as needed. The top can be either glued onto the base or left detachable, resting elegantly atop the assembled structure.
It's important to note that, while this model draws inspiration from a Holocron on Thingiverse, it is an entirely original creation, developed from scratch. The foundational dimensions originate from a public domain model by The Cyber Hobbit, available at Printables.com/model/476447. This ensures that the Sith Holocron presented here is not a remix or version of the Thingiverse model, emphasizing its distinctiveness and originality.
