This is a basic Raspberry Pi 5 case still in development.
New version (15% infill) is designed in OnShape which gives much better precision and tolerances than Tinkercad (first version). All sharp edges are filleted which gives it a much smoother and quality feel.
This model uses 8 x M2.5 threaded inserts and M2.5 5mm screws. Tested and printed with standard PETG filament from Bambu Lab and all tolerances are pretty good and tight (not tested with other materials). Currently it's designed to be used with Raspberry's internal fan/heatsink combo (see pictures). Finally, it's currently designed to be used with some adhesive rubber/pvc spacers on the bottom to provide some airflow from below.
Printing tips:
Top part does not really need supports (or brims if you have good adhesion). Bottom part needs supports for the HDMI, USB and SD card. Optionally you can add support blocker for the screw holes at the top. I used the 0.2mm quality profile and 50% infill, but I don't think the percentage matters much because there are no thick/bulky parts.
Features that I consider adding in the future if enough people request it:
