This works great for a tablet and even a 2 ft high sign used for display. This is a simple but excellent design.

Other Issues:There is no tilt when resting a tablet or, in my case, a graphics tablet; a mere tap on the table suffices to dislodge whatever is resting there

This stand is designed to hold tablets at a steep angle My iPad hasn't even fallen over I am not responsible for unstable surfaces Nonetheless thank you for the feedback
