A1 PMS (Poop Management System) BIN and Baffle

NOTE:

• Please read the instruction guide below for proper installation. 
• I do my best to double-check and test the print profile I create. They are up to date with whatever changes I made to the designs. If you are using profiles made by others, please check if they are updated.

INTRODUCTION

Introducing the OG of Poop Management System (PMS) for A1. Launched together with the Bambu Lab A1 printer, it consists of a Baffle (purge guide) and a BIN. The focus of the design was to make it easy/fast to print and install. Nothing fancy, all functional, no embellishment, and does its job. 

I have added the Stabilization Bracket for A1 in this project build plate 4, they are optional. You might also want to try using the GRIP bracket, an alternative to the Bambu Lab bracket for mounting the AMS lite to the top gantry. 

INSTRUCTION

• Print build plate 1 or 2 depending on which BIN you want to use. 
• Print build plate 3 for the Baffle
• Paste a piece of clear tape over the area on the Baffle (as shown in the image). During purging, the tip of the purge can still be molten and can adhere to the wall. The tape helps to reduce this issue preventing purge buildup. 
• Slide the purge guide into the purge wiper (as seen in the image). It should fit snugly. You can use a M3x6mm screw to secure the Baffle to the purge wiper

• The bin should be fitted into the left Z beam as seen in the image below.

• Turn on the A1 printer and do a home to ensure proper clearance.
