Description

This is an indoor hydroponic greenhouse, designed for growing small crops such as basil, chili peppers, parsley, sage, and more. It’s compact and functional, making it perfect for home or office use.

Features

The greenhouse comes with three pots, each designed to be filled with coconut fiber, providing the ideal medium for hydroponic growth.

The water tank has a capacity of approximately 1.2L, which is sufficient to sustain the plants for 4–5 days in an environment with a temperature of 20°C. A float-based indicator allows you to easily monitor the water level, ensuring your plants always stay hydrated. Refilling is simple, thanks to a small access door on the left side.

Fertilizers

To optimize plant growth, it is highly recommended to use hydroponic fertilizers, which are readily available on Amazon. These provide essential nutrients that ensure your plants thrive in a soilless environment.

The Lamp Setup

The lighting system is based on a lamp available on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.it/dp/B09JGPVPP9?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title.
(It can also be found on AliExpress at a much lower price.)

To adapt the lamp, you will need to:

  1. Cut it to a length of 18 cm. (see image)
  2. Fix it using two M3x5 screws along with plastic-printed washers.

Additionally, the lamp’s original connector should be replaced with this one:
https://www.tme.eu/it/details/neb_j21/connettori-dc/lumberg/neb-j-21/?brutto=1&currency=EUR&gad_source=1.

Alternatively, you can replace it entirely with a ready-to-use lamp that can be purchased directly from Amazon or another retailer.

The Lamp Supports

The lamp is held in place by 20 mm wooden rods, which can be purchased from any DIY store for a few euros. If the rods don’t fit perfectly, you can simply sand the ends slightly for a smoother fit.

Printing Notes

The 3MF print profile is optimized for use with PLA and PETG filaments. For best results:

  • Avoid modifying the settings for the tank and pots, as this could lead to water leaks.

This indoor hydroponic greenhouse is a versatile, easy-to-assemble solution for small-scale gardening. With the addition of hydroponic fertilizers, you can ensure robust plant growth, bringing a touch of nature to your space with minimal effort.

Hello! Primarily for aesthetic reasons The standard connector would have protruded sideways With this modification, however, the cable follows the right side rail

You should also make a nice cover to prevent light from spreading into the room However, the boost is well-deserved
