As with the base mounting plate model, please read and follow the assembly instructions carefully.

*****PLEASE READ ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY*****

1. Prerequisites:
   1. Purchase - 20ea of 4mm by 1mm N52 Magnets https://www.mcmaster.com/5862K402/
   2. Purchase - Superglue
   3. A fully assembled Ally-Mag or LeGo-Mag Base mounting plate
   4. Borrow or purchase - an Iphone Magsafe Battery Bank or Magsafe Charger or Magsafe Mount
2. IMPORTANT NOTE:
   1. I used only N52 magnets because these are the strongest magnets. I have no experience with other kinds.
   2. Pay Careful Attention to the ICON on the Magnet Plates:
      1. “Ally-Mag USBC Hub Top” has a Controller Icon in the center. Use the fully assembled Ally-Mag Base mounting plate as the base to put magnets on this part.
      2. “Ally-Mag USBC Hub Bottom” has a Chain Icon in the center. Use a borrowed Iphone Magsafe Charger or Mount as the base to put magnets on this part.
   3. POLARITY of how you install the magnets are very important so PLEASE use the correct magnetic base for assembly as described in “2b”.
3. Print the parts of the mount in this post.
4. Place the “Ally-Mag USBC Hub Top” plate on top of your assembled Ally-mag or LeGo-mag base mounting plate. Align the center of the base mount to the middle of the magnet cavities in the printed part.
5. Start placing magnets into the magnet cavities one by one. The magnets should stick to the cavities because of the magnetic base mount below your printed part.
6. Once all magnets are filled up, put a thin layer of super glue in the recessed cavity where the magnets are and attach the printed “Magsafe Cover” on.
7. DO NOT REMOVE THE Ally-Mag or LeGo-Mag base from the assembled part until glue is dry.
8. Repeat steps 4 through 7 for the “Ally-Mag USBC Hub Bottom” plate but rather than using Ally-mag or LeGo-Mag as the base use a borrowed Iphone Magsafe Charger or Mount for the CORRECT POLARITY.
9. Once glue is fully dried, wait maybe 12 hours, and you can put the parts together.
10. Snap the Top and Bottom piece together over the USBC hub.
