Dummy 13 - Iron Man Mk3 Costume

This is my custom Dummy 13 Iron Man remix. As with my Lara Croft remix, there are a huge amount of models in the mix here, so please show the original creators some love too. It's a relatively easy print, some supports needed for various pieces. There's 6 of plates, but an AMS is not needed, unless you want to print one of the realistic heads (but it's 4 hours, and a lot of filament changes!) I've printed all the pieces in individual colours and assembled, but some gluing is required, particularly for the visor on the helmet, the sides of the thighs, and the biceps. Most other pieces will press fit together, but you may find tolerances mean you need a dab of glue on other parts. Overall I'm fairly pleased with the outcome, it took far too long to get to a release, and there are elements I might update later, when I add a print profile for Mk7 version of the costume. With that in mind, there appears to be gaps at the base of the shin armour, which was a happy accident, and so I left them as I like the finish. Mk 7 Print Profile will be in the new year at some point, as I'm determined to get both Thor and The Hulk out before Christmas. Ideally before this weekend is over!

Warning: Due to the addition to the hands for the blasters, the joint has less give than the standard hands. If you try and construct the pieces too soon off the plate, I've found the ball on the end forearm frame twists. Give it time to cool down, and ideally add the hands with the frame on a hard surface. If you still have issues, try scaling the hands to 101-102% (You'll need to also scale the white parts for the hand similarly).

This is the fourth part of my MDU (Marvel Dummy Universe) Avengers Phase 1 Series costumes that I'm creating. Check out the others already in this series, the Black Widow Costume, Hawkeye, and Captain America. Still to come in the series: The Hulk, and Thor. No band of warriors would complete without a foe, so I'll also look to create Loki as well.
