Description

This is a concealed hinge. It opens 180º, and has a clearance radius of 14mm, so it can be used on any panels up to 14mm thickness. I'm using it for a 12mm ply box. It's a print in place print. Tolerances are about 0.3mm. Usually the piece that has the slider at the top during the print moves but stays stuck. It can take a bit of wiggling to get it to free up. Just make sure when that when you give it a push to free it up, that you apply force along the groove. Once all the parts were free, then I put some lithium grease into the grooves.

While it looks simple, this is not an easy print. Tolerances can't be increased without the parts being too loose once finished, and there is significant overlap, in a non simple fashion between the sliders and the grooves. Make sure your printer is well calibrated and accurate before trying it.

Notes:

This is a structural part. I used 3 layers and 20% infill (gyroid), and that seems pretty strong. If in doubt, use more. You may need to give it a bit of a push to free it up once printed.
