Description

Some people in the office don't remember to insert the poop bucket back in position after dumping it so I've taken upon myself to create a version making it more obvious when its not returned. I've also removed a bit of material to make it a less consuming print for my needs.

I've also added a optional riser for people using Anti-Vibration feet, see updates below!

3x9 Magnets

Profile 2: Extended Chute Back Wall - for anyone who finds an extra lip where the material first comes out useful

I created this version with a little extra lip on the back side of the chute to solve a specific issue I had, but for most people it isn't necessary. I decided to upload it if anyone finds it useful.

Profile 3: Riser - for anyone using Anti-Vibration feet or raise the printer height.

After increasing the height of my printer with anti-vibration feet I decided to make a riser so this chute could still be used without modification. Simply print and drop the chute in to it. It'll put the chute back up in to the proper positioning. Should even be able to increase the Z scale to fit your height needs!

*Ignore the fact the center of the “B” and “R” are loose pieces in the photo. In my haste to print I forgot to realize those wouldnt be connected but have already remedied it in the profile.

Why is the ramp from the poop chute to the bin SO rough? It has an almost-stairstep surface, and most of my poops are getting hung up just outside the poop chute. Will have to apply some PTFE tape to make the surface slicker. Cannot recommend this design. The bin is a little small, too, although that doesn't matter, since most of the filament poops aren't making it down the slide.

Been running it for weeks with zero issues with poops making it to the bin and I think in comparision to the majority of designs out there this bin is larger than most, certainly adequate. I'll see what I can do though...

"Can't please em all" isn't exactly what I was going for, but ok. This item printed with a very rough ramp top surface. So rough that half the poops were not sliding all the way down to the bin. I'm not asking to be "pleased" - just to redesign the top surface of the ramp to be as smooth as the other surfaces. I might try to remix this design. I added a strip of Teflon tape to this surface and it's functional now.

Thanks. I added PTFE tape to the chute, and it has been working since.

For some reason this model is either too tall with the riser or a bit to short with no riser. However it works fine for me. Attached the chute to the chassis with a bit of double-sided tape. Thank you for your design!

I had this issue too; cutting the bottom of the riser off using planar cut so that the riser is ~20.5 mm worked perfectly.
