Description

3 differed Z Axis covers to protect from dust. these don't interfere with the camera, so you cant see them in timelapse shots.

There are 3 types, plain color, infill pattern and the Bambu Lab logo

for the infill pattern, just select the infill pattern object and change to the infill and % you want

they sit in place and there is no movement.

I have only tested this on a P1S, so I can only assume the frame of the P1P and X1C are the same,

however there may some variation in the machining of the frames.

The left side fits too tightly against the camera, while the right side is too loose Otherwise, a splendid concept

thats weird, I've had other people saying the camera side is too loose and the other side snaps in fine, maybe there are slight variations in the machining or filament expansion

question are all these part covers necessary?

They aren't necessary, but it depends on the parts, protecting bearings from dust and particulates can help prolong the life of a printer. Other parts purely are aesthetic, so it depends on what each person. Wants to print

gotcha thanks. another question so with all the covers for all other parts does it create additional heat that would adversely impact the machine and its output? don’t some areas where the covers are maybe not these specifically but others seems like chokes off breathablity which seems like would have a much more negative impact than simply servicing and maintaining a cleaning regime for your machines no?

It depends on what your covering.. if you covered the stepper motors which create a lot of heat. Then yes, but things like bearings or belt pulleys aren't creating that much heat, but are open to filament getting into the bearing or pulleys, possibly damaging the bearing, or the belt. Plus not everyone maintains and cleans their machines regularly

Works really well! I didn’t expect it to be sturdy and stay in place very well but it does!

It turned out beautifully. The left part fits snugly, the right is slightly loose. Double-sided adhesive tape will solve the problem. Thanks!
