Description

The Ludwig's Holy Blade trick weapon from Bloodborne, scaled to be a Dummy 13 weapon. The outer blade slides over the inner blade, allowing the weapon to “transform”.

A trick weapon typically used by Healing Church hunters. It is said that the silver sword was employed by Ludwig, the first hunter of the church. When transformed, it combines with its sheath to form a greatsword. It exhibits several departures from the workshop's design, suggesting that the Church anticipated much larger inhuman beasts.

If you like my models, I would appreciate a boost!

Plate 1: Untransformed sword

  • Orientation: Print lying flat.

Plate 2: Greatsword Sheath

  • Orientation: Print the blade lying flat. Print the crossguard standing up, with the hexagonal slot facing upwards.
  • Settings: Automatic classic supports on the crossguard. Arachne wall generator. 0.15mm layer height.
  • Assemble by shoving the fins of the blade into the crossguard. This is a very tight friction fit, so if it doesn't go in with a reasonable amount of force then try trimming the fins a little bit. I used superglue to keep it in place.

In the photos, I've attached the sheath to the back of the model with Blu Tack. FromSoftware didn't model a strap for the sheath, so I won't either I suppose 🤷.
